Privacy Policy – Led Haarets Application

This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and stored when you use the “Led Haarets” mobile application (the “Application”), operated by Yehuda Pinchas (the “Service Provider”).

The Application is designed to operate mainly locally on your device. We do not maintain remote user databases or user accounts.
1.1 Information You Provide
The Application may process information that you provide, such as:
- Access codes (PIN) used to authenticate with your hardware device.
- Configuration settings and preferences that you adjust in the Application.
- Files you select manually (e.g., firmware update files or documents to display).
This information is stored on your mobile device or on the connected hardware device and is not transmitted to external servers by the Service Provider.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
During use, the Application may process certain technical information, such as:
- Device model and operating system version.
- Technical details required for communication with your hardware device (e.g. BLE address).
This information is used only to support the functionality and stability of the Application and is not stored in external databases by the Service Provider.
2. Permissions
The Application may request the following permissions:
- Bluetooth / BLE – to scan for, connect to, and communicate with your device.
- Location – required by the Android operating system in order to perform BLE scanning, even if the Application does not use your precise location.
- Storage / file access – to load update files or documents that you choose manually.
You may choose not to grant these permissions; however, certain features of the Application may not function properly without them.
3. Use of Information
Information processed by the Application may be used for:
- Connecting to and communicating with your hardware device.
- Performing firmware updates (OTA) when you explicitly select an update file.
- Saving local preferences and device-related settings on your phone or hardware device.
The Application does not use your information for advertising, user profiling, or selling data to third parties.
4. Sharing of Information
As a rule, the Service Provider does not share personal information with third parties. Information may only be disclosed in the following cases:
- To comply with applicable laws, court orders, or legal processes.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Service Provider or other users.
5. Data Storage and Deletion
Since most data is stored locally on your device or hardware, its deletion is typically performed by:
- Uninstalling the Application from your mobile device.
- Resetting the hardware device according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

6. Children’s Privacy

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the Application, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Your use of the Application and any connected devices is at your own risk.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will indicate the latest revision. Continued use of the Application after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
