Terms of Use – LedHaarets App

Welcome to the "LedHaarets" application (the "App"), available for iOS and Android devices. The App is operated by "LedHaarets" (ledhaarets.co.il) (the "App Operator").

By using the App, you fully agree to the terms set out in this document. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the App.

1. General

The App provides an interface for controlling and communicating with compatible hardware devices via Bluetooth, including display configuration, content updates, and time calculations based on location. The App is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind.

2. Use of the App

  • The App is intended for users aged 16 and over.
  • The App may not be used in any unlawful, abusive, or infringing manner.
  • Use of the hardware device connected through the App is at the user's sole responsibility.
  • The App is not intended for any critical, safety-related, or medical use. Do not rely on the times displayed for purposes where an error could cause harm.

3. Permissions and Privacy

To operate, the App may request Bluetooth, location, and file access permissions. Full details on how permissions and information are used appear in the App's Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights in the App, its code, design, interface screens, and accompanying materials belong to the App Operator. Copying, duplicating, distributing, or reverse engineering without written permission is prohibited.

5. Software (OTA) Updates

  • The App enables performing firmware updates on the hardware device.
  • Updates are performed at the user's choice and responsibility.
  • The Operator is not liable for damages resulting from a failed update, disconnection, power outage, or use of an unofficial update file.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App Operator shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the App or the device connected to it. We do not warrant continuous, fault-free, or error-free operation, including the availability of third-party services used by the App.

7. Security and Authentication

Some functions require entering an access code (PIN) for the hardware device. The Operator does not store these codes. The user is responsible for protecting their access credentials.

8. Changes to the Terms of Use

The App Operator may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Publication of the updated terms on the website or in the App constitutes sufficient notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination of Service

The Operator may discontinue the App's operation, block users, or change functions, without prior notice.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel, and exclusive jurisdiction over any matter relating to them is granted to the competent courts in Israel.
